Role Overview:

As a Trading Product Manager, you’ll work closely with operators to understand their needs and the available trading products in the market. You’ll engage with key stakeholders to identify pain points and develop solutions for our trading product. Acting as a bridge between operators, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams, you’ll ensure the best player experience. Your role includes capturing operator requirements, influencing product prioritization, and aligning efforts across Technology, Sportsbook Product, Trading Product, Sales, Commercial, and Marketing teams. You’ll maintain expert knowledge of third-party service providers and typical trading product services, attend iGaming conferences to build relationships, and provide essential documentation to support the trading product roadmap. During product development, you’ll liaise with service providers to resolve issues and foster positive relationships with all stakeholders. Strong communication skills and proficiency in using data to support business cases are essential.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Develop a strategy with the Head of Trading Product for an industry-leading B2B Sportsbook trading product, defining vision and KPIs.
  • Manage the trading product roadmap, aligning features with operator needs and product strategy.
  • Balance commercial, operator, and technical needs, prioritizing and managing the product backlog.
  • Organize quarterly planning cycles to focus on trading product priorities.
  • Identify and address operators’ issues or needs to implement the trading product roadmap.
  • Specify research and evaluation requirements to determine operators’ needs.
  • Compare our Sportsbook trading product to competitors to assess competition.
  • Assess and introduce new trading products, preparing ROI analysis and timelines.
  • Propose and manage budgets, developing business cases for future features.
  • Build relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Confirm objectives and priorities for trading product requirements with stakeholders.
  • Communicate and market new Sportsbook products/features with P&L leaders and Sales, Commercial & Marketing teams.
  • Identify and manage trading product partnerships and service providers.
  • Benchmark competitor initiatives in Sportsbook trading product development.
  • Attend iGaming conferences to maintain professional knowledge and relationships.
  • Maintain operator relationships through regular meetings and conference attendance.

  • In-depth knowledge of Sportsbook trading products to provide tailored solutions to operators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams, operators, and service providers.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize and accomplish tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt and prioritize features for timely development.
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic business and competitive Sportsbook landscape.
